Draw materials from inventory for survival

Greetings.

I see a feature that is quite lacking in my opinion. Survival mode could have a handy option of drawing materials to build with from a certain inventory. As it only draws now from the hotbar, which is lacking.

Um what? Can I get video of this? Use obs and give me something to see because I have never experienced what you are currently experiencing.
