Crash when mouse scrolling through hotbar

I have a ton of mods (400, sorry) so I can understand if you can't find what causes this crash. I think it's either an interaction with the Exchanging Gadget from Building Gadgets which is also in my hotbar, or the Thaumcraft Black Tallow Candle.
Anyway: turn on Quick Replace with a hotkey, place some blocks in Normal mode, scroll over aforementioned items (gadget, candle) in your hotbar on the way to the other block you wanted and... crash. It also tints my whole screen green, (instead of dirt screen) which is really weird.
I tried looking through a few recent 'crash' issues, and I also have a Blockcraftery item in my inventory? I'll remove it, but I don't think that's it. I think it's an interaction with Building Gadgets.
Anyway, absolute adore this mod! Thank you for making such an easy to use time saver for building!

I thought making an account was unnecessary, but since I’ve run into a similar crash with no Quick Replace on and no Building Gadgets in my hotbar, nor scrolling through my hotbar, I think the issue might be an out-of-memory or similar.
Anyway, trying to build with a Twilight Forest building block (Castle Bricks) and left clicking, then dragging to remove a section of wall while the ‘wall’ option was enabled, caused a crash to title screen with a pinkish/red tint overlay. Simply starting up my world again and I can continue as normal.
I’m building a gorgeous castle in no time with this mod, it’s super convenient.
