Roots Duplication Issue

Roots tools have a right click function on them that replaces a block with a variation of that block after returning an item. Setting Effortless Building radial menu to anything other than Normal results in the block transformation failing. This can be exploited to gain infinite resources in Roots.

I'm not sure whose end needs fixing, but the way Effortless Building breaks block transformation seems a bit odd. Is it intercepting any block change state regardless of what it is?
