[1.12.2] Cubic Chunks Multiplayer Comaptibility

The Build the Earth project and modpack use the Cubic Chunks mod which is creating an issue in that a player cannot place blocks with the mod while on a Multiplayer server. The of blocks is also slightly out of alignment. However, the mod works fine on singleplayer worlds.

Have you installed the mod on the serverside as well as on the client?

Cubic Chunks is very hard to be compatible with. I simply cannot make this mod compatible with everything.
