Contextual actions to show metadata in Web Setup and Visualforce preview
The first part is based on feedback from Mario Burdman:
"A nice to have and I can guess is an easy one is right click -> 'Show in Salesforce Web'."
Additionally I've been wanting to have a quick way to preview/render/refresh the current Visualforce page (and once supported, Lightning app) in the browser from the context menu and/or key binding.

reporter It's unlikely I'd have a preview tab with an actual embedded browser just because of the technical issues (embedding a native browser in a Java Swing app, much less supporting all of the various browsers people would want to use to preview). More likely I'd take the same approach that JetBrains takes when editing Web-oriented content:

I forgot they don't do that. Been using Atom lately ;) In lieu of that you could also navigate (authenticated) from metadata to objects, tabs, etc. You'd need to know whether Lightning is enable to format URLs.

reporter Partially delivered in 1.7.0.0. You're now able to preview Visualforce pages and Lightning apps in the browser using Ctrl+Alt+Shift+P (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Opt+Shift+P (Mac).

I agree a preview tab at the bottom (or split) would be preferable.
