NPE on New > File > Apex class on folder

I noticed that I could now right click folders in my project and add a new apex class even if it wasn't a "classes" folder.

When finishing with the dialog I get a NPE though;

Upgraded IC2 to 2.0.6.3, issue persists, updated ticket

This seems to be resolved now, either due to an update or by ensuring module configuration is correct (we use a gradle build process which was causing some error noise in our project)
