Can't Deploy Static resources in specific project

I’m not sure what happened but somehow the Static resources on my Salesforce project in IntelliJ got “disconnected”.

I tried removing the Static Resources from the metadata subscription, deleting the “staticresources” folder, then re-subscribing and retrieved the metadata back. All the files are there but when I try editing and saving nothing happens (they should be deploying). Also there is no “Force Save” option for all static resource files.

I also tried disabling the tooling api for resources but nothing changed.

I can refresh the resources from Salesforce, I just can’t deploy them.

How can I make them work again? All the IC settings seems fine.

Based on the coloration in the provided images, it look like that directory is configured as excluded. Can you right-click on the staticresources directory and see what options are available under Mark Directory as. If there's a Not Excluded option, please click that. If that's not the case I'll likely need to get debug logs from you.
