Filter non-context view (Project, Module, Custom) by contextual selection

It would be nice to be able to show only the selected files when deploying to a different org.

Are you basically asking for a hybrid of Context and Custom where you can have a custom selection that's a subset of the original selection? Just trying to understand the request since Context already filters by the selection.

Yes, it would be a subset of the original selection. If I select a bunch of different metadata files and I wanna make sure within the selected ones if I’m not missing anything. Having all of them listed like in the image gets a bit tricky. Not sure if this makes sense on that screen, but I kinda use this a lot do deploy to different orgs.
