Salesforce password expiration causes intellij to hang

Nathan Schleifer created an issue

If the org that is being worked on requires a password change due to a org requirement and illuminated cloud cannot login to the org the application hangs.

The only solution is to close the app using task manager.

Change the password in the org using the Salesforce client. Restart intellij and immediately go into the connections page to update the login information.
