Have you updated the cached list of server metadata since adding the custom label? IC2 caches the list of server metadata aggressively as it can be expensive to enumerate in some orgs. If you haven't already done so, go into the subscription editor (Illuminated Cloud>Configure Module) and use either the Refresh toolbar button or the link below the metadata selection tree. The new custom label should be in the list. You may also want/need to add it to your metadata subscription.

You can find much more documentation in the user guide Managing Metadata topics:

    https://bitbucket.org/RoseSilverSoftware/illuminatedcloud/wiki/User_Guide/Home

Please let me know if that doesn't resolve the issue for you.

hi Scott, I have also some issue with custom labels as in the auto complete dropdown the custom label is missing and it keeps saying “cannot resolve the symbol “name of the custom label”. I am able to retrieve the custom label but it is not available in auto completion dropdown for some reason. Please note that there is no namespace defined. Appreciate your feedback on this.

Dhanajay, we might split this off into its own separate issue since the two aren't likely related, but would you please restart the IDE entirely now that you've pulled down the custom label metadata and see whether those issues still exist? I have a vague memory of another user running into similar, and apparently IC2 was(/is?) caching the custom label information too aggressively such that it wasn't picking up files that are retrieved until after the cache is reset. Either way please let me know the outcome, and we'll likely move this into its own issue for further tracking.

Hi Scott, Thanks for your quick response. I did check with all your suggestions but it seems the issue still there. I will create a different issue for tracking and will let you know. Thanks a lot for your help!

Resolving this assuming/hoping that the first response helped with the issue. If not, please feel free to reopen with additional details.
