Trace Flags - Ability to sort + other enhancement
Issue #1918
resolved
- When viewing existing Trace Flags, I’d like to sort by clicking on column
Use Case: I have hundreds of trace flags set on environment, but most of them are 1-2 years old. If I were able to sort by date, I’d shift click most of them and delete in one go. - When new Trace Flag is added using Plus button, scroll down to the trace flag and focus on it.
When there’s lots of the trace flags, you can’t see any change on the screen while clicking Plus button. When I used it for the first time, I thought this feature doesn’t work, but then I found empty trace flag at the bottom.

reporter Just noticed Removed expired trace flags (although I think I used it before now that I think of it).
Regarding second point, that is correct. I’m only asking for it to scroll to newly added row. -
repo owner I think the first point is still valid and will investigate it. I'll need to make sure there's not some underlying expectation about the default sort order, but I can't imagine that there is.
The second should be easy to address. I'll try to include it in the next build. Due to a pending summer holiday that won't likely be for two weeks.

Thanks for logging. The first item makes sense. The Remove expired trace flags toolbar action exists, but it sounds like you want to be more selective and remove really old trace flags but not necessarily all expired ones.
Regarding the second, it sounds like you're just asking for it to scroll to (and likely select) the newly-added row automatically to raise visibility, correct?
