Processing XX detected file changes and IDE freezes

Whenever I am working with any code component, intermittently I get the error as in screenshot
After this IDE is not usable, you cannot do anything. Then I have to force kill and then restart which is ok once in a while but this is happening every 10 15 minutes, which makes it really difficult to work on IDE.

Hi. Is this still happening to you or can this issue be resolved now? If it's still happening on the latest builds of both the JetBrains IDE and IC2, please let me know.

Hi. Sorry for the issue. Can you please let me know the versions of both the base JetBrains IDE and the Illuminated Cloud 2 plugin you have installed? If you're using the 2021.2 version of the JetBrains IDE, please downgrade to 2021.1.3 as noted in
#1944. If not, please use File > Invalidate Caches / Restart to rebuild all IDE caches and indices. If that doesn't work, the next time the freeze occurs please send me all thread dumps from Help > Show Log in Explorer/Finder/Files for review.
