Hi Scott, few years have passed through since I originally posted this question. As of the latest public update, the support for plugins is actively under development. There are already over 50 Jetbrains plugins, so I thought if it is the right time to update us on yours Fleet Thoughts? :)

Hi. While it’s true that JetBrains has opened up a first phase of the plugin program, it’s only intended right now for very simple plugins. I did discuss IC with them, but as IC makes extensive use of the existing plugin SDK, they deemed it not to be a good candidate in the current state (and likely for a while). There just wouldn’t be much opportunity to bring over significant functionality at present. Trust that I’m in continued communication with them about it and, once the SDK has reached a mature enough state, I will begin investigating what it means for some subset of IC functionality to be availabe in that tool.
