Connection API Version gets Reset

This appears to happen when entering the latest version of SF API (say 58.0) when IC is officially only version 57.0

  • To replicate:

    • On an API version 58.0 Org, enter 58.0 into you connection (assuming its on an earlier version)
    • Apply changes.. All good
    • Close your IDE (In my case its Webstorm)
    • Re-open IDE, open the connection and its reset to the latest supported version

    Okay, I can see why/where this is happening, but I'm not comfortable putting in a change just before the current release, nor before Monday's Summer '23 release (which will resolve this for an other several months anyway). I'll get it into one of the subsequent releases, though.
