Unable to deploy or retrieve via dialog.

I’m getting the following error when trying to open the retrieve or deploy dialog.

I’ve recently changed my directory structure so that the metadata is grouped into logical groupings. under force-app/main/{grouping}

So this error goes when I select default source directory in the module settings. Can we change that error message to be informative?

It also seems that if you don’t select the grouping folders as a source root it will cause the above issue.

Justin, can you make sure that you’re updated to the hotfix that was released just this morning? It should specifically address that issue:

I’m not quite on family break yet. Heading out Saturday and trying to get everything into ship-shape before I do so. So no harm. I’m the one who released software with a bug that required a hotfix…though to be fair, it does seem to be a bit of a corner case…less so now that two people have run into it, though.
