Can't create a new project with scratch org connection
Issue #2429
resolved
I have a scratch connection configured and has been working, I am trying to create a new project but can’t select a scratch org from the New Project window. The only connections listed are the top level orgs / dev hubs. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi. To create a metadata format (i.e., Illuminated Cloud) project from a scratch org, you must mark the associated connection as follows:
That designates it as behaving like a non-source-tracked org. Alternatively you can create a new source format (i.e., Illuminated Cloud SFDX) project directly against that scratch org.
Please let me know if that doesn’t resolve the issue for you.
