A one click way to retrieve all metadata elements of all "subscribed" types including all new elements

Ok here’s current set of steps to retrieve all subscribed, this applies to both types of projects really

1. go to the IC2 menu and select Retrieve Metadata...
2. always have to click Update now to update the local cache
3. then have to click on Contents to change it Custom
4. then iterate through each of the desired types of metadata
5. and change each checkbox with a - to a checkmark, which sometimes is 1 click but sometimes is 2 clicks
6. click retrieve or retrieve for merge

What is being asked for a new menu option to do all this in the one operation.

I believe this should have been delivered in 2.2.9.2 with the metadata subscription management changes/enhancements, specifically the new configuration options for automatically retrieving/removing metadata based on the current subscription when org metadata is observed to have changed.
