Deploying LWC using ToolingAPI no longer working after update to 2.2.9.3

I just updated to latest version, and I noticed I cannot deploy a Lightning Component Bundle anymore. More precisely, when I save while in HTML, JS or CSS file, I get Deployment Error: JSON_PARSER_ERROR - Missing or malformed payload; failed to bind to Entity.

A deploy succeeds when either I save while I’m in the Metadata tab, OR if I disable prefer Tooling API for LWC.

Can you please provide your idea.log file from immediately after reproducing this error?

Turned out the issue was only against an API v60.0 preview org. I'll still investigate that, but doesn't seem to be an IC2-specific issue.
