After updating to v1.7.5.0, unable to validate license and IC plugin is disabled

Issue #437 resolved
June Bischoff created an issue

Looks like take three was not yet the charm. IC is disabled after getting this error. Log is attached.

An unexpected error occurred during license validation:
There are network adapters on the system that are disabled and TurboActivate couldn't read their hardware properties (even after trying and failing to enable the adapters automatically). Enable the network adapters, re-run the function, and TurboActivate will be able to "remember" the adapters even if the adapters are disabled in the future.

June, sorry for the issue. However, in this case, that's the validation software telling you what it needs you to do. Have you tried to activate all inactive network interfaces and then re-enabled the plugin so that it can use that information? If so, does it fail in the same manner? Please let me know so I can work with the vendor of that software if necessary.

    Regards, Scott

Hrm. I disconnected from my docking station, which turns on the wireless network adapter, and now I'm getting a message that my license is invalid/expired. Trying to reinput my license gives me an error that the users for that license are all used up. Need to wander out to IT to confirm if that was the correct license number or if we passed them around between developers such that I should have a different one.

Okay. I can reset your license key for you. Just let me know. I'll either need the email or key to look it up. I appreciate you weathering through this. It's a change in the licensing software that's supposed to make this all easier going forward. Unfortunately it can only auto-enable those network interfaces (leading to seamless operation) in Windows 8 and higher, and it looks like you're using Windows 7, so it's more intrusive. The good news is that you should only have to do this once and then it should remember things going forward.

Let me know what you need, and sorry for the nuisance...

Both license numbers for our shop tell me they're maxed; I've sent an email with both. Reset would be very helpful, thank you.
