I would be nice to see user information of the last person who has edited code within a given class. (currently we need to go to SF to check this information)

It would be great if such information appeared while hovering your cursor above apex classes/VF pages available in the project.

Gotcha. I'll look into what's possible via the plugin SDK at some point soon. I agree that having some information about the server state of a file conveniently accessible would be useful.
