IC2 not recognizing email templates as supported files

repo owner That's interesting that it's recommend IC1. IC1 and IC2 both use a dynamic file type detector for
.email
files so that they can use the correct editor based on the email template type. Let me see if I can reproduce this behavior. I'll provide more guidance shortly. -
repo owner Easily reproduced. Looks like it's doing the right thing for HTML and VF templates but this comes up for text templates (at least for me). I'll take a look and get it resolved.

when I was working on templates, sometimes it was 'catching context' and started to support(code highlighting, predicting etc) but I didnt manage to find exact moment of that.

repo owner FWIW, I just opened plain text, HTML, and Visualforce email templates, all without issues, so I think this is long resolved.
