Include global VF/Aura/LWC components in OST (or make available for retrieval)
A user identified a gap in the Salesforce SDK presented by IC where global Lightning components from installed managed packages are not included in the OST, nor can their calling interfaces be downloaded from the org. These should be included for code completion, reference resolution, and integrated API documentation purposes.

Hey @RoseSilverSoftware, is there any update on this? Is this a limitation of SF API?
-
reporter Igor, I will be trying to include this in an upcoming (i.e., near-term) release focused on broad Lightning improvements. I don't know yet whether I'll be able to get what I need, but I'm hoping that I can retrieve the published interfaces of these components via the metadata or tooling API.

Scott, this would be amazing - as this is the feature we (and one of my slightly-OCD devs) want most.
Cheers for the much better product than SF could ever do!

reporter Nic, I'm going to be revisiting this when I switch focus to filling the gaps in Lightning dev in IC soon. I have a few metadata management items I want to address first, so it'll be a few weeks before that switch occurs.
