Once Santa has been surprised and dropped his presents he flies off, but where does he go?

Does he leave the level for good or appear on a different part of it?

What if the player leaves the level and returns?

He disappears to a different part of it, definitely. This is very apparent if you just run round the level searching for him.

I’ll close this ticket off once I fill in the details of how it is determined where he goes.

Slab noted something interesting, if your current level doesn’t match your highest level then Santa is replaced with a Devil! Seems there is no returning to past levels to farm that vital present you really need!
