GPS used on launch
I noticed that the GPS was in use when I launched Robin and stayed on for an extended period of time. I killed the app, re-opened and the same thing happened. In a future launch, I saw the GPS come on for only a second before it stopped. It might have had something to do with my wifi enablement (I had it off at first).
I don't think you should use GPS at all on launch. I am not a privacy freak, but this is something that raises red flags and makes me kill apps. IMO, location should only ever be used when the user has opted into it.
As far as I can tell, the Twitter app only ever does this when: 1. You tap the location marker in the post UI. 2. You return to the post UI after having enabled the location in the past.
Anyway, I don't think that twitter should necessarily be the model of follow, but I still think that the geolocation icon should never appear for a reason unknown to the user, so I ask that you please consider removing this.
