Robin on Kindle Fire (1st gen)

Issue #2 resolved

Thought you guys might be interested to know how Robin currently feels on a Kindle Fire (1st gen).

** Currently using Robin on both my Kindle Fire and Galaxy Note; however configured to receive Push only on my KF.

** Kindle Fire currently running Android 4.1.2 CM10 rooted

Hope you don't mind me comparing with Hooha - I don't like comparing apps as they're unique and different, but being that this is a private ticket..

Also I know that Robin's currently not Tablet optimized yet :) Just writing as a reference.

Initial feed loading speed: Hooha loads faster than Robin by several seconds.

Switching between tabs: I find Robin much choppier than Hooha here as well. Moving from Timeline to Mentions, the screen stops for about 0.5-1 secs in the middle then moves. This happens only after initial load. Once the tabs are cached, everything's smooth.

Tapping on post: On initial load, inconsistent tapping area to tap on posts. Generally I'm able to tap on the conversation bubble on the right to get to the thread, but tapping anywhere on the post often doesn't go through. Frustrating but I can't figure out what the problem is or how to reproduce it.

In-Post: My Swiftkey keyboard keeps disappearing mid-typing...never happens on my Galaxy Note but pretty often with my KF. Don't know if it's Swiftkey or KF (probably combination of both), but when it happens, there's no way to get the keyboard back but to wait for it to reappear (it does reappear...cycles back and forth).

Think that's it for now :) Thanks for adding me to Robin Beta, hopefully I'd be able to funnel useful feedbacks your way!

@dewey

*P.S. BTW, I feel like I could compare Hooha with the likes of Felix and Zephyr, and Robin with the likes of Rivr (and perhaps #PAN even). Like the media previews and the general aesthetics of Robin so far :)
