This needs investigation. The idea is to allow for one-off items (for example a gem stone) which can never be restocked, so there's no point adding it to Components.

Potentially this could allow selection of an existing Stock item (earrings for instance) which could then be a 'component' of a WSI if they're being modified.

    Could this just be a standard stock item. Is there a reason why the existing stock admin process wouldn't create the right entity? Then the change would be that the calculator also had the option to pick up stock as well as component and service?
