[Question] any plans for updating to assimp version 5.0?

There are new features and fixes in assimp 5.0 that can be very usefull so do you have any plans for updating to that ?

There’s a 5.0 branch you can use (but the native DLLs are still out of date, so you need to provide your own).

I just pushed a bunch of changes today, which I believe makes the managed layouts of the scene data structure 100% compatible with native 5.0. But it’s all untested until I rebuild the native binaries.
