Create an online documentation for assimpnet

Issue #61 new
Former user created an issue

While this repository does not seem to be in active development. I think that adding a documentation explaining the usage of the library classes and function could help significanlty while the assimp C++ has documentation as well, this porter lags a good one.

With the continous development and progress happening on the C++ assimp library, I think assimp-net will be of great help.

I was able to only find this wiki that can provide a quick usage instructions but it seems to be very old: https://code.google.com/archive/p/assimp-net/wikis/GettingStarted.wiki

It is just an open discussion if there is no online documentation already, we can create one using any tool :)

There's a sandcastle project and practically all the public APIs are documented. There's a help file that gets built, but it probably does get overlooked. And most info out there on the native library is more or less applicable.

I've taken a break from my OSS projects for a while, but for the most part the wrapper is “feature complete” and I just do a release every year or two.

Note: the current 5.0 beta on nuget matches up to the latest release of the native library, while I should do a proper release, most people seem to overlook it
