Burnup Chart Estimation line explanation

Hello,

Could you please clarify how the Estimation line is calculated in the gadget 'Burn-up chart'? Sometimes it seems that the estimation line is only calculated making a line between first and last point of the graph. Is it a formula or estimation method behind?

Do you use Great Gadgets add-on? The picture attached seems to be from a different app. Could you please provide a screenshot with the gadget from our add-on?
