Burndown by estimate doesn't seem to show any burn
Issue #27
resolved
Despite having logged work against issues in the filter every day, the burned line is flat.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
I'm using version 1.2.1 but can't find that in the version dropdown.

reporter OK. I find that counter-intuitive. I'm not sure how easy the Jira APIs make this but please consider at burndown mode which monitors Remaining Estimate and burns up hours worked.

reporter - changed status to resolved
It doesn't work the way I expect but it appear to be working as designed.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for posting.
Based on your settings, the "Burned" line of the release chart should modify when an issue enters in a status that has category "Done". In Jira these statuses are usually the ones displayed in green color like "Closed" or "Resolved" (see the picture below). So please check if the issues that you expect to reflect in Burned line really reached such status.
Once an issue reached a done status, the Burned line will modify with the amount of time that entered at Original Time Estimate field of that issue. For example, if that field was set to 8 hours, then the chart will increase with 8 hours. The gadget is not impacted in any way by the time/work logged by your users or Remaining Time Estimate field. An issue is considered "burned" when it is done not when someone logged work on it. Please also check this.
Thank you,
DM
