Can function "Count also the sub-tasks and their estimate" works in NextGen project?
Hi,
I created “Sprint Burnup Burndown Chart” and calculate by “Story Point Estimation (NextGen projects)”, it works well in first level.
However, I tried enabling “Count also the sub-tasks and their estimate” to include story points in sub-tasks, it seems no difference in the chart. Would you please clarify how “Count also the sub-tasks and their estimate” works in NextGen projects?
Thanks,
Jonas

repo owner Hi Jonas,
We just deployed a fix for this issue.
Could you please confirm that the subtasks of your NextGen projects are now counted?
Thank you,

reporter @Danut M [StonikByte] I can’t tell the difference as I checked/unchecked “Count also the sub-tasks and their estimate” and reload the dashboard. I tried add a extreme 100 story points in one sub-task, but the dashboard seems the same. I’m not sure if you fix the issue actually.
Perhaps you can explain how “Count also the sub-tasks and their estimate” counts story points of story and sub-task.

Can you please confirm that you are using the latest app version 1.1.23-AC?
Please check in Jira Administration > Apps > Manage Apps > Great Gadgets.
If it is the latest and still not working, please contact support@stonikbyte.com and someone from our support group will get in touch with you to investigate further. It might be something specific to your environment.

Hi @JustCo SAAS Admin
This is a known issue and is caused by this Jira Cloud bug:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-18394
Basically, in Jira Cloud if you now filter by sprint, the filter does not return the subtasks of the next-gen project.
We were hoping that Atassian will fix it but apparently they didn’t yet.
We will look for an alternative solution/workaround and try to provide a fix soon. Stay tuned.
Thank you,
Danut Manda
