Issue #7 invalid

server error 500 when attaching a screenshot

apricoti
created an issue

After installing the plugin, it shows up and I'm able to paste the screenshot but when I click the "attach" button I get a message box that says server returned error 500 for /redmine/attach_screenshot.

It appears that the issue is with what the uploader jar file is sending to the sever but the source code for that is not in the repository so how can I solve this?

On the server side, the stack trace looks like this:

Processing SysController#projects to xml (for 127.0.0.1 at 2012-04-11 08:48:02) [GET] Parameters: {"key"=>"[6Ohu51BZKNTw6IV2n9U2]"} Filter chain halted as [:check_enabled] rendered_or_redirected. I had the same problem. After checking apache logs /var/apache2/error.log on ubuntu server), i found a permission denied error, on my [redmine_root_dir]/tmp path.

Doing a chmod 777 on [redmine_root_dir]/tmp solved the problem for me.

(but doing only a chown -R www-data:www-data [redmine_root_dir]/tmp - since I use Redmine with Apache and Passenger - wasn't sufficient).

    Source is included in: src/java_applet/com/axmor/redmine/uploader

What OS are you using? I've heard off and on that some OSX users were having this issue, and I don't have access to an OSX box and those having issues aren't Java coders.

I haven't tried it on OS X. I don't know how I missed that src folder. = When I get some time at work I'll check it out and see if I can fix it. = Might be a few days (or weeks).

Try using the latest version, Rails 3.0 was really strict on the body of the upload and I tweaked it to be correctly formatted.

It'll work on Redmine 1.4.x if you haven't upgraded to 2.0.

I'm a bit confused as to your attached log:

"/sys/projects.xml?key={API Key}" is part of your web service for repo management, I don't touch that.

If you're having an error you grabbed the wrong stack trace.

I'm going to close this as invalid being as it doesn't even have a valid stack trace attached to it concerning this plug-in and no one has replied with a correct one.
