Error about LPP identification

Issue #8 new

Dear Zhixu Ni,

First of all, I am very grateful to you for inventing this software, which has reduced a lot of trouble for me in the analysis of oxidized phospholipids. However, I have had some problems in the LPP identification process recently.

Question:LPPtiger can't recognize the converted mzml. file,I would like to ask if only ProteoWizard version 3.0.9134 can be used to convert thermo file. This version no longer appears to be available on the network

Best wishes

Nan Meng

    Hi!

    Many thanks for using LPPtiger.

We have moved this project to GitHub and released a patch to get more compatible with newer ProteoWizard.

    please visit page:

    https://github.com/SysMedOs/lpptiger/releases/tag/v1.0

    and download: “LPPtiger_hotfix2021.zip

This should work with ProteoWizard released last year.

    Try this one:

    https://www.proteomesoftware.com/proteowizard/windows-3.0.21229-x64

If it is still not running, please find the debug mode of LPPtiger and let me know if there is an error like:

"IOError: Could not find obo file C:...\LPPtiger\LPPtiger_Win10_64bit\obo\psi-ms-XXXXXXX.obo"

We will find the correct obo file matching to your ProteoWizard from mzML project so that you can use it.

    Hope this helps.

    Best wishes,

    Ni

       Hi! Mr. Ni

I'm very excited to hear the news about LPPtiger2. I have recently tried to solve the qualitative problem of oxTG by using LPPtiger2. This software update has dramatically solved the problem we encountered. Thank you very much for your contribution to the field of oxidized phospholipids. By the way, If I don't bother you, could you please add your WeChat account so we can communicate more conveniently with you. My WeChat account is 18103819107 from Ocean University of China. Welcome to Qingdao. It's a charming city!
