KSP Freeze On Launch
Dear B9 Creators,
Every time i launch KSP it freezes at a different point in the loadscreen, the one with the 3 kerbals, i had this problem with the older version of B9 aswell as the new one. i think it has somthing to do with the Mac OS because it always works fine on my windows desktop and even on my windows partition of this computer.i have tried uninstalling KSP and reinstalling it, it runs fine, then adding the mods and it freezes again. i read through the installation instructions to make sure there was nothing i was doing wrong.
Thank You for Reading, Lavadawg

None of us have a mac, so I'm not sure there's anything we could do, but you have installed ATM, right?

Hi guys. Also running on the Mac (10.9.4), and I think I'm running into the same issue. Seems to be coming from certain part.cfg files—if I remove the file, it'll move on but will hang on the next problematic part.cfg. Haven't removed all of them yet. Any recommendations for further testing? Would love to help if possible.
Edit: I am running ATM, which doesn't seem to be having any problems. And, obviously, parts are a little broken without their config files. As I mentioned, if someone gives me some direction I can try debugging.
Edit 2: Ok, deleted the entire install and reinstalled. Trick seems to be paste the B9 folders into the Game Data folder, rather than replacing Game Data wholesale (yes, I know this is a RIDICULOUS mistake, haha.) Other than some shadow weirdness—possibly because I'm running my poor Air to its limit—it's running beautifully. May want to point out this installation tip to avoid further silliness from folks like myself.

repo owner Try removing the part before the one that appears to hang KSP.
The log is mostly useless and will fail silently on lots of things only to hang (silently) on the next part.

Leonardo—check my most recent edit. May just be user error, though my general offer of testing for OS X still stands.

repo owner Ahhh, the old dragging-a-folder-on-a-folder replaces things on mac yeah.
Nobody who doesn't use a mac ever remembers it, because its stupid. It sure wasn't like that In OS9 and before.
Anyway, glad you solved it.
