Z-fighting in ASCII mode

In the free-moving version of the ASCII mode, where you can move the camera using alt, objects on the ground appear to be at the same height and are z-fighting.

Either we try adding more rendering layers, or we set a tiny Z offset for each “type”?
Alternatively we could go full ASCII and only show what’s on top of a pile…
