Got stuck in changing display mode screen

After casting wave of life and killing the constructs i got stuck in the changing display mode screen. It was still possible to open inventory and target tiles/monster, but not to move

    Without a logfile this is hard to tell. I guess there was a different error that prevented the map from being displayed correctly.
