    Totally believable bug. I have no idea about how to reproduce it.

    Anybody else experience this? Any detailed information on how you got to this point?

    Yeah, Sorry. I realize my post is only “Helpful™” . If I remember correctly I was a Male Human Fighter working for Gilah, and all of my talents were dumped into long swords.
    Never had the bug after, though.

    Could this have been your second game ever? (because on the first you can’t pick a custom character)

    Yes, it was my second game ever. After that it worked fine, no issues upon character creation.
