Something I’m noticing as I play through, right now, is that there are runes I will automatically just use for XP and others that I’ll hold onto. The ones that I just skip over are jelly slaying, plant slaying, and construct slaying – at least as comes to mind now. Some of the slayers I’ll keep, especially dragon slaying cuz duh. But I thought it worth mentioning that there are some items that are basically just XP fodder, by my calculus, at this point in development so that they can be modified, or monsters/levels can be added that makes them a choice to turn into XP rather than auto-XP.

I will note that as of 1.0.0 Construct Slaying ruins can be useful in the late game.
