GUI: cannot read long description with scrolling

I want to read the description and have to scroll to do it. But I can't – because it is rendered only when my mouse is over the “Dark Elf” button.

It’s possible to press the LMB over the button, then leave the mouse area and visit the scroll area. But it’s just not cool.
