Game crashes to main menu on older MacBook Pro
MacBook Pro (early 2011) OS: High Sierra 10.13.6 Intel i7 2.7 GHz 4 GB Ram Intel HD 3000
After the latest update starting a game yields these messages in the ualog:
UA.Core.ErrorHandling.UserErrorException: [AGE-1] The game state engine fumbled: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
16:46:46.160] <AGE-1> INFO - Starting Ultimate ADOM was aborted after 9657ms. [16:46:46.257] <Unity> ERROR - Can't find prefab 'ChaosGooJumpAnimation' in directory 'PrefabsRuntime/Ascii/ModalAnimations/' [16:46:48.567] <Unity> ERROR - Can't find prefab 'ContinuousStunned' in directory 'PrefabsRuntime/Ascii/AppliedEffects/' [16:46:48.568] <Unity> ERROR - Can't find prefab 'ContinuousParalyzed' in directory 'PrefabsRuntime/Ascii/AppliedEffects/'
Verifying integrity / reinstalling doesn't help.

It won’t actually let me finish the character creation process.
Starting the tutorial goes to the loading screen and then kicks back to the menu. For predefined characters it shows the intro and then goes back to the menu. And for custom I made an unaligned, male ratling adventurer and it went back to menu before showing the skill select screen. I tried a few different custom characters just now and they all have the same result.
Language is in English.

Can you please try to rename/delete this folder?
/Users/<your user id>/Documents/Team ADOM/Ultimate ADOM/CavernsOfChaos/Steam
If the problem persists, can you please post the ualog.txt again, thanks!

I deleted the steam folder and tried to start the tutorial and got the same results.

Thanks, we’ll try to reproduce it. It crashes when the grammar library is called.

The errors you quoted probably don’t cause a problem.
The crash shows a translation problem during character creation when the default equipment is created. Can you please tell us which selections (race, class, etc.) you made during character creation? Also which language you use. Thanks.
