Experience Point Star Icon Not Showing Up

This has happened a few times. After speaking with the Mysterious Shade on the first floor, the icon and ability to convert the leftover equipment does not show up.

Some of these harvesting options are only available with higher PC levels, e.g. when playing for the gilah faction you will receive the “XP conversion” at level 2 and the “PP conversion” at level 7.
