Balancing: 'Rotten Innards' skill seems too powerful, and conflicts with other skills

‘Too powerful’:

Immunity to critical hits for the rest of the game is a big boon. If such a thing were possible at all, I’d expect a trade-off to balance it, but there isn’t any. One could argue that the player has to invest in several other Death Mastery skills to unlock the ‘immunity to critical hits’ skill, and that investment could be seen as a trade-off. But it isn’t really a trade-off, since those prior Death Mastery skills are rather good themselves, conferring outright immunity to various negative statuses and types of attack.

'Conflicts with other skills':

The ‘Armor Mastery’ skill tree provides three skills (Deflect Critical Hits 1-3) which each give a chance to reduce incoming critical hits to non-critical. But if the ‘Rotten Innards’ skill is taken, the player is immune to critical hits, so all three of the ‘Deflect Critical Hits’ skills become useless.
