Game Froze on River Level

While auto-exploring, the game froze after the character triggered a strong current. The character disappeared off of the screen, all UI components stopped responding, and the only key binding that seemed to work was alt+f4. Alt+f4 gave me the opportunity to save, but when I loaded the save it seemed to be from earlier in the game.

Auto-explore does not enter strong currents anymore, so I think I can close this one too.
