Robert Leach created an issue 2014-11-18

When you perform a search, the first search gets emphasized by background dimming. Clicking the second search button or performing a second search with the same button doesn't update the dimming pattern. Screen-cap attached.

I just tried this out on Ubuntu 14.04 and it actually works. I have done quite a bit of work on different issues that also involve selection/ highlighting. Maybe I have unknowingly 'fixed' this. Please try with the most updated master branch. I did 5 searches and the highlighting updated as expected for all of them.

Could this also be marked as resolved as a result of removing the highlighting?
