Show/hide trees area size inconsistent

The initial size of the area displaying trees in small window is very small, so I manually adjusted it to make it bigger. However, while treeview seems to remember this manually selected bar position, sometimes it forgets and I end up with a very small (or very large) tree area again when using the buttons/menu/shortcut to toggle tree visibility.

I'm attaching a screenshot as an example. I had manually adjusted both trees to take up roughly half the label pane, but after various show/hide actions, the left tree area because very large (see image) and clicking the show/hide buttons would henceforth use that position as the 'middle position' instead of the manually adjusted position I'd given it.

This appears to have been resolved in the current master.
