Also a suggestion: do you think it would be useful to show the full path to the last opened file when you first start treeview? Maybe something like this:

Last opened file: <file_name> (<path_to_file>)

Or some other way to make it easy to read (the <path_to_file> could be a pretty long string)

Yes absolutely. Users can have multiple files in different locations with the same or at least very similar names. I will add this.
