This feature, combined with the possibility of issue #109 (loading additional row/column labels), can replace the Karyoscope feature of the old Treeview 2.0 (which was brought up by a beta-tester). In Karyoscope, you could look at your data after sorting row/column in chromosomal order (by chromosome number, first, and then by genomic coordinate). This is a very important application of sorting as it is often used as a quality control on the data (if there're any trends related to chromosomal position, it may be a signal of batch effects and/or other systematic biases).
