Robert Leach created an issue 2015-05-27

There appears to be an intermittent bug associated with zooming out (using the opt/alt-scroll-down). It zooms out on the y axis much faster than the x axis. Every subsequent zoom-scrollout works fine. It appears to happen maybe 10% of the time.

This appears that it is probably another "reset preferences" issue. I'll reopen if it happens again.
