F.A.Q. - End Users

Q1

In what ways can I interact with projects hosted on VLCore?

A: As an end-user, Wiki and Issues will be the tools that you most interact with on VLCore. In addition to these two tools, you can get the latest modification to any VLCore project from the Source tab.

Q2

Do I need to remember yet another long password and username to contribute at VLCore?

Absolutely not!! All Issues (bug, task, etc.) can be reported anonymously, without the need for any username or login. If you wish to get email updates on the Issues that you have submitted, you will need to create a bitbucket account. You can create and access your bitbucket account via many OpenID mechanisms including Gmail, Yahoo, and Wordpress.

Q3

I found a problem in VectorLinux or a VL project, how can I report this to the developers?

First, find and go to the project's page under VLCore projects. Then click on the Issues tab. From here you can create a new bug report. For more details on bug submission, check out the HowTo/Bugs page.
