VL64-7.1 RC3 Unable to mount drive or paritions

Attempting to mount a drive or partition via the Disk Utility results in a Authentication Failure error after providing root password. Partitions and drives also not showing in Thunar.

Investigation shows that the partitions and drives are not listed in fstab after the installation of RC3.

Work around provided by vluser in IRC:

slapt-get -u

slapt-get -i gvfs --reinstall

This should reinstall gvfs-1.20.3-x86_64-1vl71.txz and install the missing dependencies. Everything works as designed after that.
